Bei längeren Verbindungswegen zwischen Audioquelle und Mischpult können mit dem Einsatz einer DI-Box Störsignalle wie z.B. ein Brummen vermieden werden.

Die Box verfügt über einen XLR- und 6,3-mm-Klinke-Eingang sowie über einen XLR-Ausgang. Die Spannungsversorgung kann über eine 9-V-Batterie oder die Phantomspeisung vorgenommen werden.
